I’m a freelance editor and writer based out of Los Angeles. Previously, I served as the managing editor of GOOD, where I oversee the website’s daily content, and I was the editor in chief for the San Antonio Current, San Antonio’s only alternative news source. During my time with the Current, I led a staff of seven immensely talented writers, editors, and an art director to create award-winning work recognized on a state and national level. My culture reporting, interviews, and reviews have also appeared in the Guardian, BOMB, Kirkus Indie Book Reviews, the Onion A.V. Club (Austin), Spin.com, and Soundcheck Magazine, among other publications.
I’ve also worked as a government reporter for the Williamson County Sun newspaper, the assistant editor of San Antonio magazine, and the music and film editor of the San Antonio Current. I hold a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, New York, NY.
